I dont see the point in calling ppl morons for not listening to a leak. Whether it's outta respect for the band or wanting to wait until you've gt the whole thing in its complete form, it's just what ppl prefer.

I started off not wanting to listen to a leak, but...eh. Each new song I hear, knowing it's getting closer, makes me more excited. I'm more excited for this album than I was for DE, and I have no worries whatsoever that this album wont be mind-blowing (to me). So I might listen to a leak (provided it isnt crappy quality, because that really does ruin the first time listening to new music frm a band you love). But regardless, whether you listen to a leak or not, if you're a fan of the band or the music you've heard, then you buy the album or support them in some way. As long as you're not an asshole who loves the music but just gets the leaks and doesnt bother buying anything, then it's all good in my book.

So, what's everyone most excited to hear? If Poltergeist or Rosemary then pick another one, because it's easy to anticipate the songs we've only heard live. I mean based on descriptions or titles. Just what appeals to you the most?

You got another 2 weeks before the leak I'd say. Like musings said, get outside, find a girl to fuck and the music will come eventually.
Best quote ever.

Also to those not buying the album, go fuck yourself. Support art that deserves it. And people wonder why music is in such a sorry state.

You said it sir! Just plain and simple respect for your favorite band(s). If you want them to continue on, the better the album sales, higher the probability that they willl produce more records before they are too old to do it anymore....

Eh it's sort of a higher probability but as Chino said the reason they make ''this music, is because it makes us happy'' you gotta remember the band started out as just a fun thing to do. They appreciate just being able to do it, I'm sure they're pretty cool with whatever they sell.

That said, they do have to pay the record company back. But, they probably get most of their money from touring and merch.

You're absolutely right. This has a lot to do with their views too, which should also be taken into account in their motive to continue making records.. I'm sure they wouldnt mind higher record sales though. I mean, they have families, bills, plus the % that goes towards Chi's treatments, and the record company, management, band roadies ( guitar and drum tech).. Unless warner pays for the latter half as well.. Tours and merch help supplement all this in their income too obviously, if not more than album sales.

Kind of disappointing actually :/ I don't know what I was expecting or what would make it better but it just seems like a run of the mill limited edition preorder.

Well I was going to just wait and get that Leathers/ Rosemary cassette at the show next week, because I thought it was said that it comes with a digital download of the full album on release date..  But I think I might just get this instead lol.  How much was the Cassette anyone know? Because the preorder package is 39.99

Damn, and I have no credit card...

Nail

Didn't it say the cassette is only available at merch tables?

pre-ordered that nigger, it says that international shipping can take up to sixteen weeks so let's hope that don't happen

Also, the international shipping is at 16,49$. Way too expensive...

I just care for the t-shirt and I bet it will be available seperately anytime soon.

Guess I will simply go for the standard CD then, which will be released three days earlier here in Germany.

Nail

Speaking of the cassette, there's an outside chance that I will be seeing them in either Kansas City or Columbia this weekend. If I do, I will rip the cassette for everyone's hearing pleasure. That is, if I get one!

Yeah, they are but, I know some people have been to the last couple shows and seen the tape for sale. So I was just wondering if anyone recalled the price of it.
