This is probably one of the most anticipated deftones album yet .. and they have it pretty sealed up i mean it hasnt leaked yet! .. and it probably wont till maybe a week before release.. or maybe never.. people say i may be way ocer my head and obsessed with deftones and that what if in the end the album doesnt deliver .... all i can say is... FUCK YOU .. deftones are the shit and they DELIVER on every album <3

Yeah i'd have to agree with the last few posters. I understand the idea of waiting but I'm going to buy it anyway so what does it matter when we hear it. Even if its a leak we will still hear the album in full just like you will.

We're just disagreeing that waiting longer makes any difference in how you first hear the entire album.. this is a discussion after all.

I`ve heard 3 of the 4 songs available and have only listened to them sparingly and don`t really intend on listening to them again until the whole thing is out but I don`t care if I hear the whole thing before the cd comes out or not, as long as it`s the whole thing.  If there`s a leak I plan on snatching it right up.  I don`t see the big deal in waiting for the actual cd.

The only reason we have to wait a month for it is because the label company decided that we would get it at that particular moment. They decided it was the perfect timing because of marketing and other cd releases. It's not an artistic reason. The music is done, the mixing and editing is done, everything is done. People in Germany will have it a couple days earlier, should they wait for the US release too?

i get the idea of 'the whole package' way of thinking.... which makes sense to me too,.
but i'm not waiting around to get hit by a bus either


(i still love hearing the uncompressed .wav version... the real deal...i buy the physical copy as soon as it's available...  then the album gets a second birth with the artwork and lyrics etc, as well as the superior version of the album)
