Right now I use Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones for my music production / listening... I love them.. I also liked the Audio Technica headphones I had. I forget the exact model... These shits aren't cheap though, I've never paid less than $100 for headphones but that's just because I always buy them new from Guitar Center, I haven't bought them online yet. I like to get headphones with a good low frequency range which makes listening to shit like Meshuggah and the Diamond Eyes / KNY with the 8 string a lot more enjoyable... My Sennheiser pair range goes from 8 - 25,000 Hz. Normal headphones only go down to like 20 Hz, and believe me when you start getting down to that low of a frequency you will notice a big difference in quality from 8 - 20 Hz..  worth the money...
