who's the guy who said this:
Dear Deftones management,
Please don't add bonus-tracks on I-Tunes after awhile like you did last time with Diamond Eyes, It's really a big 'screw you' to all the fans who actually bought the CD

I mean yeah..... please don't give us more songs or anything assholes.  ::)

Vesanic

Because people who bought the physical copy weren't able to put their hands on these tracks. I think this means if they're willing to add bonus stuff, put it on the actual CD too.

shoop

Yeah but can't you buy tracks one by one in itunes? What's wrong with having the option to buy a few more tracks? They have to have some sort of incentive for people to buy online I would imagine. It's not that often you see bonus tracks on a physical copy anymore, unless it's a reissue I think.

Vesanic

Not everybody has an online account or a credit card to buy stuff online.

I'm one of those people, but I manage lol. Point is, i'd rather be able to find extra tracks online for free even if I have to, vs. not having any extras at all. I mean the guys' got a point, but i'd still rather have extras than no extras, bottom line.

I doubt they'll do it again, but I'd love it if they did another live show/stream thing of them playing the whole album live, like with DE. That was kwl.

Diamond Eyes had so much promotion its ridiculous.

This album is almost as if it doesn't exist.

Giving away two songs off the album is a great promotion i think. Plus 2 more played live.. koi no yokan is already be an anticipated album in 2012 ( thats how i read on the websites), they dont really need bigger promotion stuff, wasting money..

it's still an entire month away.. this generation seems to have a shorter attention span, so it would seem pointless to me, to do anymore than they've already done at this point. There will probably be a little more push within the last 2 weeks or so before it drops. For now, I think they're just fine.

All of The Deftones fans I know of are very stoked for this album. I personally have not been this excited for new 'Tones since S/T. I also notice that in general, it seems the web is talking a lot about Koi No Yokan, more so than when Diamond Eyes was scheduled for release. The only thing I worry about is that Tempest is the single. Tempest seems like a song that will be more appreciated by long time fans, and it likely will not accurately represent the band and the album. I know Deftones are very dynamic and no one song by them dictates the sound of an entire album, but you guys get the point. I was expecting a curveball on many of the songs on this album, but even Tempest threw me for a loop. Took me over 20 listens to really "get it". I have not had to try to like a Deftones song since S/T. Hopefully the buzz behind Tempest and Leathers and the hype generated by an inevitable leak will help push KNY to some good sales and exposure.
When people whisper it makes her nervous.

Some guy posted a link to the album on Youtube, but some are saying its real in the comment section.. I checked it out.. It's bullshit. One of those .rar files that need a password and you can only get it by filling out a survey and multiple other downloads. Idiot. He's been reported.

This asshole right?

Album Leak Deftones - Koi No Yokan

I reported him too.
I would be happy just with the previews of amazon from any country.
