Koi No Yokan thread

Okay.. So does anybody find it ironic that Chino was just mocking people in that Crave interview about ideas of having deftones videos being based off of a "Post-Apocalyptic World" context and then the  new Spin article with the Tempest track said that "the coming apocalypse almost became the guiding concept for the entire LP" (Koi No Yokan).

Yeah I know haha. I saw the interview with Chino and thought it would be cool to use the song title with 2012 since he said it's kinda about the 'December 21, 2012' thing, but eh , I digress...absolutely not the greatest username...

It's kind of exciting seeing how much the thoughts are varying on this song and the different things it reminds people of.  It's so all over the place that I don't have a clue what to expect with this song.  Still haven't listened to it.

Ves, is the album art on the first page of the thread legit? And I don't know about the new song, It's decent, I like the fact that it's so very different, but Im not sure it's the kind of different I wanted to hear. Not a fan, but maybe it'll grow on me in time.

Just, for myself, this new song is incredible.  It's new ground.  I've loved this band since 1998 and it makes me happy to see them evolve.  They truly are in a category of their own.  This new sound is very pleasing to me.  I'm telling all my friends.  I feel like crying with applause.
