Deftones - Tempest sounds pretty

Riff is weirdo, but good note.
Drums are a little bit soft..
Nice to hear long songs.
Stef really does his job.
Frank does so many touches, he should stop it.
Chino is so much melodic. He should stay straight.
This shouldnt be the single. It is too long.
Intro is cool.
And so many things.
But still its a good song. Not so impressive tho.

What the Blunt @Stef 2/3 into the song, neaty fresh riffs there. Not smacky not lushy but something in between just fluently mixed between lovely and robust, It's not that it is spartanic but definately uncommon for them to play it that way.

I'm much more excited for this album than I was for DE. I dont know, I just feel like based on what we've heard, we can expect so much of a push outta their comfort zone while still retaining their core elements. I feel like not many bands can do that, they either stay with one particular sound or do more or less a 180. Whatever, I love this song, I love Leathers, and I'll certainly love the album ^_^

Oh, and I love that it's a longer song.
