Single's October 9th, wasn't it that way, Tempest instead of Swerve City because Warner intended so. No way they get two Songs out that quickly. we have heard 3 of 11 songs already and info about how half the Album feels like from interviews.

This is great. I hope they go with this vibrant colour scheme much like the Leathers cover too. It seems to lend itself very well to the sounds I'm hearing in Leathers.

I've come to the conclusion that 99% of this thread doesn't know what 'heavy' means.

what's the correct definition then? it always gets problematic with that expression,so many different takes on it. steph believed that the helmet cover sinatra is the heaviest song they ever recorded - much focus on the heavyness of the instruments. hidalgo, don't think that the instruments play such a large role, it's more about how much screams there is in it. even with a little lighter linus / adrenaline guitars, it's still heavy if chino screams to it. how can you have a giving conversation with such different opinions of "heavy"? you can't, it all turnes into a confusing mess. one thing we can all agree on though, the chorus of wtgb is heavy,when all instruments are heavy and when the vocalist screams to them. personally i don't think it's all about the screams though, the last part of the song diamond eyes is heavy to me, and that part doesn't even have vocals

Chino's voice doesn't sound quite as strained when he gets aggressive as it used to on ST and SNW. Think he's come a long way but I still prefer his voice on the more relaxed parts of leathers. Really impressed with the overall theme of the song, good lyrics, artwork and style, comes across as a step up from DE.

Still long for the style of white pony but can safely put that one to bed now.

Heavy has never referred to vocals.  As a musician I am face palming all over this thread.

When Chino says heavy he means sonically, usually. Just a reference point. I would say that leathers is sonically heavy and that main riff is just flat out fucking nasty...

i just realized steph playes the "wear your inside on the outside"-part differently the first time compared to the last time in the end.same notes,different pattern, less varied the first time,  it's pretty cool. favourite part of the song for me but didn't think of it at first
