I hear much more DE than SNW and the tempo/energy reminds me of their old stuff.

The first minute is probably the best.  That intro blending intro abrupt, unbridled aggression is just awesome.  Also, the scream around 2:47 is excellent.

About the verse/chorus thing... I really love the verse, and how it connects perfectly with the chorus. This song it's not a "mind song", like Beware, Sextape or Digital Bath (and also Minerva)... it's a physic sound, a song to headbang, to do a trip like a crazy monkey, y'know?

It keeps growing in me... I really can't wait till 13/11 or even 9/10

I like Leathers alot. Abe's drum hits remind me of SNW. Franks Keys alot like DE/ATF Steph guitars WhitePony/SNW
Chino's Voice like WhitePony/DE and Sergio will like Sergio.

Are you freaking kidding me?  Nailed it?  Wow.  It's like they were listening to a completely different song and it seems they're high.  You must be too.  They kept mentioning it was slow, and calm, and mellow.  It's not lightning speed but it sure as shit is not slow.  If it's slow then most Deftones songs are very slow.  And it's so far from mellow it's ridiculous.

Once again, they've done it again!  Damn that chorus shot chills through my body.  I didn't know music could still make me feel this way.  Way better and more energy than anything on DE.

There's gonna be some people who complain about certain songs.  I didn't like CMND/CTRL, I skip it most of the time.  The chorus that some people are bitching about is pretty epic and I don't think it draws from any other band.  It is deftones and only deftones.  It's beautiful.  especially the part of the song where he says "Wear your insides on the outside.  Show your enemy what you look like."  Bone chilling..

For me, everything about the song sounds like classic Deftones except for Chino's singing on the chorus. I dunno, I just miss that more eerie, soothing mid-range vocal style. He does it on the breakdown, but the rest of his singing is high-pitched. Like, really, really high-pitched to the point where it's grating. He can stunningly nail high notes sometimes (Digital Bath, 976-Evil chorus), but here it just doesn't work, IMO. The screams are fucking awesome, though.
