Love that it flows more naturally. Not so rigid in structure.
Also 110% more intense and serious as DE.

Come on, what a wonderful song! It's so raw and powerful... Chino it's awesome, and Abe it's very aggressive! Can't wait till Koi No Yokan XD

As much as I liked Diamond Eyes, this song takes a cosmic shit on the entire album. This is raw, lean aggression.

thats a bit to much, but i see where are you coming from. DE is really midtempo oriented, this is really good stuff and upbeat.

Yeah you're right. I'm just a little too excited I guess. But listening to this and then listening to almost anything on DE makes this seem so much better.

It's like Deftones, Saturday Night Wrist and Diamond Eyes had a baby and this is it.

All three songs from the new album I like, this one the most. This is going to be a hell of an album

interesting...im not sure how i would rate them as of now.

i think i would go with:

1. leathers
2. rosemary
3. poltergeist

Wait, what ? I am missing something here, from where the songs came ?

We've heard Rosemary live and Poltergeist is Roller Derby, which we've also heard live.

pretty standard emo/nu-metal stuff. but they're doing it well. great song. nothing spectacular and ground breaking though.

It always strikes me as odd that somebody would take the time to log into a forum dedicated to the fans of a band, take the time to find the threads pertaining to new material, take the time to listen to the tracks (maybe?), and then completely speak out of your ass about it.  If the deftones are emo then radiohead is now hiphop and the world is ending.

I hear a lot of Around the fur. No White Pony though. LOL Chongo.

With roller Derby and romantic dreams (tipped to be a monster), this is a heavy start to KNY!

Where's Vesanic? I'm sure he's got some opinions about this song!

I have a question for you guys: Do you think this tune is prob one of the songs that has Chinos hands all over it (by that I mean 2 guitars)? If this is just like, one guitar only, Stef REALLY surprised me!

Blaze

SNW material. But song is fucking awesome.

sing blue silver

I'm going to reserve my fanboyism until I let the song really sink in but upon first impression, this is NOT what I expected and it's a nice surprise. Incorporates some elements of the band I missed on DE. I'm impressed.

i missed you haters.

welcome back.

the song is killer, deal with it.
Yeah no kidding, deal with it.  There's literally no pleasing some people unless it sounds exactly like ATF/WP/ST or whatever.  Don't try and deny it people.  We all know Deftones is going to change and elements from different albums are going to be incorporated so considering, you are very lucky to have a song like this.  1 listen and I'm in love.  Certain parts of the chorus sound a little mainstream but overall it's still Deftones.
