Koi No Yokan thread

I do love what must be recent deftones fans expecting things like the band to answer if things are bullshit. Having followed the band for 13 years now, can tell you tis just not the case. The band themselves don't really get involved in any of this side of things (too busy getting stoned ) and if the rumours i've read elsewhere are true then this was held up by the mastering not being quite finished. So there's probably someone sweating away in a studio right now trying to finish it up to release, at the same time various business heads will be discussing whether its best to release tonight or hold off for peak site traffic tommorow. You want to be a deftones fan you gotta learn to be patient, and be thankful you're not a nine inch nails fan :p Deftones have got nothing on trent when it comes to shit information.

I don't necessarily mean Deftones but maybe their management or someone credible.

Fuck it, I'm being optimistic. If I'm disappointed and it isnt released today, at least I've spent the time hoping for a song rather than impatient and disappointed sooner.

So, guys...what do you want/expect frm Leathers? Aggressive, soft, dreamy, haunting, dark, beautiful, sexy, murderous, brutal, a combination, etc.?

So, guys...what do you want/expect frm Leathers? Aggressive, soft, dreamy, haunting, dark, beautiful, sexy, murderous, brutal, a combination, etc.?

I expect my mind to be fucking blown... A lot of songs longer than 5 minutes.. lots of intros to songs.. I think this album is gonna be like White Pony with the spacious feeling with the music.

I'm expecting a darker track, maybe a little bit on the aggressive side with a dreamy chorus, I was looking at deftones previous track listings from their past albums, and being that leathers is track no.3 track no. 3's tend to be darker, kinda aggressive, Example: One Weak, Mascara, Digital Bath, Minerva, Beware,and most recently Cmnd/ctrl. I dont know, im probably really over thinking things:p

I am going to predict a mixture of soft/dark/sexy. Something very similar in nature to "You've Seen the Butcher", though a little more dialed back and spacy.
