Can't tell for sure, but it sounds like he doesn't play guitar on Swerve City

So true.
It is very balanced.
Goon Squad is my favorite after carefully listened.
And then Romantic Dreams becoming great. Entombed Gause and GN is also incredible.
But i cant insult Tempest either.

It is really hard to pick the favorites. That shows it is a strong album. Not because we just listened it today. It is obvious this time.

A rushed album just to show they can still put out records every 2 years.I really hope this producer goes back to bands like Foo Fighters and stuff like that.
Missed chance to put out something epic.Looking forward to 2014,2015.
NO,IM NOT ASKING FOR A AROUND THE FUR AND NO,DONT NEED THEY TO PUT OUT AN AGGRESSIVE METAL SOUND ON THEIR SONGS.
I'LL PASS THIS RECORD,EVEN DELETED FROM MY LAPTOP.

I have to say that Sergio and Frank are the MVP's of this album, in my opinion.

From the opening verses of "Swerve City", to the bridge in "Entombed", to the first seconds of "What Happened To You", Sergio lays down some tasty, tasty grooves. The best part is his parts aren't distracting. They move freely in the space they are given, but are restrained enough to be tasteful. I think Sergio adds a very progressive element to the band.

Frank's work shines on almost every single song. His role is a lot more prominent throughout this album. From the intros to some songs to the effects that float over the guitars, Frank really put his mark on the album and really produced an entire atmosphere for the album to grow within.

I'm impressed at how well Leathers, Tempest, and Rosemary fit into the album. Each song compliments the next so well, the album flows perfectly. I've already listened to it about 6 times now.. and for a 55min long album, it goes by so quick. And that's because these songs just go from one to the next perfectly, its pure bliss.

I concur. Frank plays a more prominent role and his synths come thru in the mix much better than previously.

From all the reviews I've read and listening to all of you, this album sounds like it will come to stand as the magnum opus they were always moving towards making. A career pinnacle. A watershed album, if you will.

I'm so fucking excited for the 13th, it's practically tangible.

Man, I can tell you, its a magnum opus, but we will probably never know what Eros sounds like, so we arent sure, which one is the true magnum opus, if you know what I mean.. but its much much better than DE!!!

So is everyone who discovered this site while looking for info on this album considered a troll and not welcome back when the hype dies down? I would think a MB where people who share an interest would be more welcoming to newcomers. I actually don't fit into that category although my post count makes it look that way, I just do more reading than posting starting from before the KNY hype. But when the hype started, this was the best place I knew to come for info and to join others like me who were just as excited for new material as I was.

Anyone notice that the echoing inward scream isnt present at the end of Rosemary before Stef goes off on that heavy quadrouplet riff in the album version, but in the cassette rip it's definitely there?!
