I disagree with LP, they still make some headbanging tunes IMO. LB and KoRn have gone down the shitter though. Tbf, I don't even listen to much known music anymore.

Annoys me when people say "what're you listening to" and i'm like "Thrice, Tool, Deftones, Birds of Tokyo" and they go
"Who the hell are they?"

Its easier to just say LP or something. Though I feel like punching someone when I see a person look up Deftones as "Death tones"

Yeah, that happens to me a lot too. But I try to get people to listen to other stuff. Like if they ask who is Porcupine Tree? or Opeth? or Minus the Bear? Circa Survive? whatever/etc.. I make them feel dumb for not knowing who they are lol - and I tell them to go home and check out some good music.
There's no excuse now days. With all the downloading and things like Spotify - it's so easy to discover actual good bands/music

Sooooo i thought i found a leak online .. no torrent or anything .. went to it .. and then it said "link has been taken down by the US court" .. and i was like .. BS -.- .. or who knows .. could be true and were getting closer to a leak maybe?

I keep checking newalbumreleases.net.. but I swear I'm going to punch my computer if I go to that site one more time and see that damn Aerosmith album on the front page still.

Ya'll I just search "past hour" for deftones koi no yokan and it pulled up a file on isohunt. when I went to it it also said it had been taken down by us court. but the other fake koi no yokan files are still up on isohunt.

Idk how to search files from there o.O i just used google lol i typed in deftones koi no yokan and on the side it says advanced settings and i put it to where it shows new things from the past hour and thats how i found it :3

mediafire is nearly useless nowadays. i used to find every albums on it by typying "site:mediafire.com band album" but since the megaupload case, it's become harder and harder to use it and every links are now quickly deleted. i'd rather use filestube

True, but at the same time. I've been seeing the fake ones all over the web for months and they haven't been taken down. They don't care if its scamming or misleading.
They only care if it's the real deal. That's when they get taken down.
Plus, it's very close to the German release date. It's getting close to the time that it would leak..

I can only hope that one of us is lucky enough to catch it before it gets taken down again.

But, sometimes, when it comes from a p2p net, it is not signed by a scene group. Then, it's usually a first preview version, with a proper scene version coming eventually days or weeks later.
