Ive been with Deftones since Adrenaline and as far as the new album is concerned.....Tempest kicks ass, Leathers kicks ass, Rosemary Kicks ass. Kny is gonna be an EXCELLENT album just like all their previous ones. I cant wait.

Well, i've been a fan since Around The Fur / White Pony. I really like the old albums but i LOVE the latest albums. Everything since S/T has been top notch. They matured a lot and found their true identity. I don't think Adrenaline and Around The Fur has aged with dignity. It's most nostalgia for me.

I'm aware of the danger of making comparisons and of course, as someone said previously, KNY is shaping up to be a completely unique album - which is great. But does anyone get the impression that it might a more successful realisation of the vibe/aesthetics they were going for on SNW (also given Chino's return to guitar duties)? I thinking this now after hearing the studio version of Rosemary...

KNY is gonna be like White Pony in the sense that Deftones have taken another experimental leap into their music creating something newer and more atmospheric in their sound
