So, I understand there's absolutely no reason to critique a rough, rough copy of "Rosemary", however, during the pretty parts of the song is Chino using a vocoder (the robotic quality of his voice) or is that just the poor quality of the recording?

nah, worse actually lol. it was recorded from a boombox played to laptop mic and recorded in audacity. An auxiliary chord from the boombox to the computer into audacity and bingo would be a perfect rip.

This is my favorite Deftones song since probably White Pony. In terms of their slower, ambient, atmospheric songs....I feel like Rosemary is perfection. Kind of like all of the slower songs were slowly building to this, and this is their ultimate opus. Almost makes we want to cry lol.
