it's not that long til the record drops so personally i think the song titles + the 3 songs we've heard is enough for now. I just hope the 2 songs that didn't end up on the record - end up on singles b-sides/  extra tracks on a deluxe version of the cd/ i-tunes or whatever. definitely more interested in those than the covers

Be patient. I mentioned this in the old KNY thread...the times have changed from 2 years ago. Record companies don't have to do so much marketing anymore. People will get the information when it comes. Fast. Twitter, facebook, soundcloud, whatever...They don't need to build excitement for a year anymore. They're already done that without releasing so much information, makes you want more! I just recently found a sticker for the White Pony marketing. Its a big red square with a star in the corner, the word Deftones, and "SPRING 2000" on the side. I'm pretty sure I had that sticker MONTHS before..

I'll give you guys an example (like I did before but no one seemed to care)... Crystal Castles has a new album coming out. They have been recording since earlier this year and people have asking for news since January. No album title, no artwork, no music. The word is out..a new album is coming. 7 months later they finally play a track "Plague" live when they start touring again. August comes by, no news about the album. Supposedly it was coming out late September. Come this week they release album cover, new song "Wrath of God" and the finally, the video to Plague that they filmed back in August (Check it out...awesome video). The album is dropping Nov. 5th...similar time frame to Deftones.

Converge has a new album dropping October 9th. They've been playing "Aimless Arrow" live for a couple of months now. They barely released the video for it and album cover earlier this month (Awesome video as well...Deftones should do one similar where they aren't featured in it). Just yesterday they released a new song and its fucking amazing.

See what I'm getting at? Just be patient..we have gotten our 3 new tracks from the album, Leathers artwork, release date...it'll all come soon.
