Funny, after I let it play in my Itunes I was running aroung the house putting shit away n cleaning wtvr  and Boys Republic came next and killed Leathers, ..... i WISH THAT NEVER HAPPENED! haha Still love the track but see a huge contrast between 12 yrs, very normal. We are truely blessed as DEFTONES FANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never fails! Wanna add, they make me feel like a badass to think I've been a fan since day 2 and always knew theyu were special.....this longevity is reall gonna surprise me next time though if there really is one. KNY is gonna b great.....no skepticism here at all.

Verse = Deftones - Prince (bassnectar remix)
Chorus =  Not sure, sounds pretty original to me
Interlude = Meshuggah riffing for sure

IMHO Leathers = SNW feeling with DE sounds.

The tempo changes are sick in this song. I like chino's vocals in the verses and the post chorus, but I'd have to agree with some of you. I dont care for the way he sings the chorus, it sounds too.. I dont know yet. Need more listens.

Leathers being another fashion item, like fur, and how it is superficial and ugly? Not bitching, the intro is spacey/eerie, Steph blindsides us with his guitar, and Chino's voice is on point. this is the best the Deftones have sounded since S/T (almost a decade)!

I know its on the bsides and rarities dvd if your'e talking about the part where he says "the name of the new record is around the fur its a metaphor of some sorts, fur on the outside being beautiful and soft but inside its really dead skin"

The chorus reminds me of early Saosin...a lot of emo/metalcore/whatever bands do that same melody (the part where hes like "Everything inside show" and "Everything outside you") in the chorus. Don't know if I love this song yet...Love the intro...wish it went more of that route. I just feel like its just "chug chug chug" and then Chino's vocals too loud or something. I don't know..going to listen to it some more.
