So, I rated all the songs from each Deftones album (1 to 5 ratings), and this is how it came up :

Adrenaline - 3.19 [EDIT]
Around The Fur - 4.18
White Pony - 4.29
Deftones  - 3.70
Saturday Night Wrist - 3.91
Diamond Eyes - 4.13
Koi No Yokan - 4.18

Apparently, White Pony is my favorite album.

(I didn't rate Adrenaline yet as I am not very familiar with it. I like 7 Words, Birthmark, Root and Engine No.9 and I don't like Lifter and Minus Blindfold but the rest of the songs I don't know well enough to rate them. Going to give it a few more listens.)

What's Everybody's fav. track on Koi No Yokan or at least the one that hits home with you the most and why? people that are not keen about the album, isn't there at least one track that you enjoy?

My go to track from the album is Romantic Dreams because its so different and weird. I love the time signature changes and temp changes. Chorus sounds epic and makes me feel like im being shot into space. there's a lot of dynamics in this song. Me being a drummer I enjoy Abes drumming for this track.

Poltergeist lurks around for the number 1 spot sometimes. depends on my mood or if I'm heavily medicated Lol!

He should of just said it was his favourite there are lots of contenders for Deftones best song so many infact that it is too hard to pick one but even still What happened to you? wouldn't be in my list that being said i like it alot but i don't think it's a contender for best song

What Ves said. Even saying that WHTY is their best closer, as someone has, is absolutely ridiculous. I'm all for opinions, but it gets to a point where it's just plain wrong. The song is lacking in many, many aspects--the concept is nice enough, but it's unfinished. I'm waiting for it to absolutely explode towards the end, à la Pink Maggit, but it doesn't. It feels like the ending is trying to do a bit of a Rivière, but it falls so, so short. I wish I could explain that better, but fuck that, I have better things to do with my night.

Also, saying that every post here has something negative to say is pure bullshit. In fact, most posts praise the song and the rest of the album. I don't entirely agree with the praise, but I've tried to keep my mouth shut for now as I know there's always the initial excitement of "omg nu dftnz albem waow".

They all keep alternating for me at the moment, but I think the one track that's been most consistently my favourite is Gauze. I just think it really shows their heavy/melodic dynamic to such an amazing effect. The riff is brutal but the chorus is one of their most soaring and epic ever. Also love the groove on the versus.

My favorites are Goon Squad and Poltergeist.

Also, third would be What Happened To You or Tempest.

I have to admit, Graphic Nature has grown on me a lot recently. It was my least favorite, but I love Chino's vocals on that track. Reminds me of how he sang on some of the ATF stuff.
