Yeah! Love the guitar tone on the chorus as well. Whole track has a really cool mood.

So....am I the only one who dosent like goon squad?seems to be a favorite of many people,its my least favorite song on the album,and probally in the whole catalog.the music is bland to me,the vocals sound bad and what the fuck is he doing in the chours,sounds like the start of a astmha attack.I skiped it the first time I heard it,and had to force myself to listen to it.I tried to listen to it a lot,only got to the end 3 times.I love the album,but I'm done with that song.

This, I love the vibe of it and presumably ppl who dislike the album as a whole would like songs like Graphic Nature or Goon Squad because they sound the most like Deftones frm their older albums.

Been a lurker for a big while and decided to register.
First because, for a long time I think I need to bring out my thoughtS about this album, as a long time fan of deftones since ATF era, I think this
album should never be compared to other albums, and I know it's inevitable, but this album stands on its own.
Secondly, I especially like romantic dreams, it has a very different charisma but it's carries the wholeness of the bands musicality, it sounds so different but it sounds so "deftones".

And btw, if I was to describe this album in one word, it should be the word "beautiful".

haha. yes, I know stef said that ATF is a beautiful record.
But, I am literally saying that KNY is a beautifully beautiful record. ATF for me is like beautifully heavy.

Yes Goon Squad is a great track according to SL...

yeah it is great.. but it's not the strongest song, not mind blowing or anything... it's an awesome killer groove though, simple...but i love it.. but it seems you're hyping it up too much in your mind, probably will be let down by doing this, expecting it being something that it isn't

Goon Squad may be my least favourite now that I'm loving Graphic Nature. I think the chorus is still growing on me. Probably the weakest of the record melodically speaking, in my opinion.

Having said that, I love every song on this album to some degree. I genuinely don't think KNY has a bad track.

I am actually surprised with this record, it's the least I skip for a track. the last time I don't even skip a track was white pony and ATF

BTW Whats up with the Tempest video clip?, i think they should have released it like a week before the album.
