I just listened to KNY and WP back to back and KNY doesn't come close.  It's a good album but I had to test it against the best.  It came up way short.

Probably going to be crucified on here over this but I'm going to say it now - I legitimately think this is the best album they've ever put out, simply legendary. Everything else can fuck off & die. LMFAO just kidding but I do really think this is easily their greatest album & a guaranteed 5 star classic. Can't wait for my physical copy to arrive the 13th. The wait was well worth it.

Whether it will stand the test of time and be as outstanding months and years from now remains to be seen but I'm feeling very confident it will. KNY is truly a meteoric atmospheric magnum opus for Deftones. Anyone who doesn't like this album or the Deftones can eat a dick and choke on it as far as I'm concerned. Best in the World.

I just listened to the album for first time...Solid album after all, but not quite what I expected. I think I was hoping for something less orthodox. Reason for that might be that my music taste changed since the ATF/WP/ST days, but I still love those albums because for long time they were my most favorite piece of music. So, yeah - overall an album witch lives up to the Deftones level, but if something, it makes me want to hear the Palms record even more.
