It also puts paid to the claim people make after a mediocre vocal performance that "he's blown his voice out" or anything along those lines. It's such a daft excuse when you then hear him sound great like he does there. He doesn't have the same vocal energy/stamina to 'cover up' laziness/lack of concentration like he did when he was younger but when he's on form he's still sounds outrageously good.

Prince is such a banger live.

Here comes the fun, here comes the end!

At first I'm like "what the fuck, bringing back another Diamond Eyes song instead of a Gore song?" but then I remember it's still a pretty badass song.

Chino put a little kid on his shoulders during Rickets. Really cool.

I like what they've been doing with that breakdown at the end of Rosemary. Seriously though, can't they just learn to play the Hearts/Wires intro lol

ANattyRat

Can't they just play the actual entire Hearts/Wires song? They know how to play it, they've played it before, jeez.

Anyway...that was a hell of a scream.

Dath

I don't know how a guy in his 40s can pull off a scream like that after touring for decades but I'll take it. Been wanting to hear them play WHTY live for years too.

Awesome show, thanks for sharing!

Saw a vid of them playing Prince in El Paso. Was sick.

Does anyone know what band(s) are opening for them in London?

Black Peaks are the support act. Brilliant band, released possibly my favourite album of this year.

Awesome, I'll have to check them out. I have a weird habit of listening to the opening band's music, not caring much for it, then seeing them live and loving them. Gotten into some of my favourite bands that way, haha.

Liking Deftones live shows is like liking your old wife's saggy breasts.
Generally they suck but you just love them the way they are.

This. They were incredible opening for Deftones too, there were either a lot of fans there, or a lot of the crowd absolutely loved them.

LG95

Yeah they really held their own. Their singer Will is one of the most talented new vocalists around in rock music IMO.
