...all of the members of Deftones, Team Sleep, Crosses and Sol Invicto all collaborated on an album? Would it be great? Would it be a chaotic mess?

That's one singer (Chino), four guitarists (Stephen, Chino, Todd, Shaun) five DJ's (Frank, Crook, Shaun, Sergio, AJ), ten keyboardists (Frank, Todd, Stephen, Chino, Crook, Rick, Shaun, Chuck, Richie, AJ), four bassists (Sergio, Rick, Shaun, Chuck?), six drummers (Abe, Stephen, Zach, Bobo, Shaun, Chuck?) and four producers (Terry, Richie, Nick, Shaun).

It would probably be the greatest post alternative rock dubstep shoegaze new wave electronic indie ambient metal drum and bass dream pop album ever made.

Too many cooks spoil the broth

Would it also include a Mike Patton style tour?

This would never happen and even if it was attempted it would probably never get finished.  That being said, hypothetically if it did, there's so many people working on it, it'd either sound a lot like what we've already heard from them or complete shit.  Granted a few pretty cool things might come out of it but overall, it'd probably be a huge fucking mess.

let's keep the bands separated. take bermuda locket as an example. chuck doom writes some synth chords and add a drum beat and chino sings to it - voila - a great song is made. but in this case steph would come in and add som risk chugga chugga riffs, some sol invicto dude would add some hysterical drum and bass beat to it and then dj crook joins in and start scratching like a fucking retard and the original good idea of the song is lost. i'm thinking less is more. very seldom a sea of people is needed to make a great song

Ha, Richie. Fixed it for ya. :) By the way, I think "Total and Utter Nightmare, Son!" would be a great title for this project.

Sol Invicto

Well it would be a good title because I think it would end in bloodshed. Also you forgot Dan Foord, might as well add another drummer in the mix...

If I was running any sessions, any hint of Dubstep would be eliminated, with force!

;)

TheShade1989

If you meant like...all at once on one song...it'd be too chaotic for my liking. But if you mean just that all of them would be included on the album, still no, because they all have different influences and styles, so to me it'd just seem too...random and inconsistent.

It would either sound like the most epic fucking thing ever, or just a huge mess with too many different directions.

that would be like shit in a diaper

E-Money

I'd like to see crook do some stuff for the tones.  I think he could do some cool intro's or outros...
