I knocked together a handy comp of all the live tracks, for aural enjoyment within my car area - just curious...was this the Chino drug days?  Sounds a little wired at times.

They were the drunk days if I'm not mistaken. He wasn't doing hard drugs then I don't think.

As billy said those were more so the drunk days than hard drug days. That wasn't really until the White Pony. And regardless of what chino was doing at that time, as well as afterwards, I don't blame him. I haven't experienced anywhere near the pressure that chino has to deal with, and I still developed a rather serious opiate problem over the last few years, which I've only recently gotten under control. The thing that amazes me is that he managed to pull himself out of it in the last few years. Anyone who has ever done speed, opiates, or cocaine truly understands how hard it is to stop doing that shit. Especially when many people around you are, in a way, encouraging you, or at least not explicitly discouraging you.

yeah it wasn't long ago i read an interview where chino said they did some amphetamines during the atf era. not nearly as much attention as the cocaine use during wp though
