Mike is Abe's little brother????? or this is some kind of joke

sooniletugo

That's gotta be some joke lmao. Mike is the guitarist, not drummer. And that fact isn't documented anywhere else.

I was just thinking Diamond Eyes is my least liked album of theirs, with that said I still the love the album plus it produced one of the my favorite Deftones song and that would be "Prince". I feel like "Prince" could pretty much of fit on any of their albums.

arguably their most soulless, boring song ever

That's how I feel about YSTB.  DE was kind of a letdown for me.

That song is pretty badass.  It's the highlight of the album for me as well.

risk reminds of that scene in the simpsons where homer tells the story of the bee sharps and at one point in the episode, near the end of their career, they sing this mundane, uninspired commercial in the studio

makes me fall asleep like there's nothing else, god damn

Yeah that's tough man...  I've always seen Risk as one of the few high points on DE, along with Prince and Royal.

but why

Well, huh, might as, might as well ask why is a tree good? Why is the sunset good? Why are boobs good? Man, firecrackers, ya stick 'em in mailboxes, you drop 'em in toilets, shove 'em up bullfrogs asses.

Just kidding, that's Joe Dirt.  But really, I can't explain why I like it, I just like the sound.  I like the chorus, and I assume it has something to do with Chi which adds an emotional effect.
