Oh and to from_musings, im not trying to get into a fight here but it aint about the meaningless facts, its about your feelings toward a band or artist that make u fanatic.
I, like a lot of people on here know shit loads of meaningless facts about deftones, team sleep, life in general and other crap but c'mon, has it led to me meeting chino or having any connections with deftones more than people_r_fake529?  The answer is a resounding NO, so what exactly was the point in me knowing all this bullshit when all that really matters and makes me a defenatic is loving their art and the guys who make it.

although i have come to realize over the years that most of the peeps on here live to argue with new fans.  and with instant responses, kinda pointless and a waste of time but then again, i guess its like we are all in a big relationship with this band and the songs are mostly about relationships which do quite often contain ups and downs.  Ah fuck it, rip me to shredds.  Feel the love.

thank you for being nice to me as a true "old Skool" Defhead:) It is very cool that you stuck up for me:) Actually, no hostile feelings here to all the rest of you, actually some of your comments made me laugh so hard I was almost rolling on the floor:)  but like Defmkjah said, I am going through what all you old skoolers went through 10 years ago just discovering the band(well 2 years ago about) and listening to every album and every song and being mesmerized by Chino's awesomeness and brilliance with his lyrics.  Also just the music there is nothing else like it anywhere and its so original, and real and makes me feel alive to listen to someone who sings about deep, throught provoking themes, and not the typical, i was abused as a child, so feel sorry for me, and I 'm angry bullshit. Not to put down Staind or Korn, I am fans of those bands to, well stainds 1st 3 albums mostly, until they sold out.  Just sitting in my car on the way to another grueling day at work listening to the Deftones, somehow makes the day more bearable to get thorugh. Not to mention the grueling commute. The only two artists that even come to close to Chino's lyrical brilliance is Maynard from Tool and maybe Marilyn Manson.  I have a huge decal of the Deftones on my back windshield of my car and it looks awesome!  Also, much respect for coming on here and being proud to be a father! I am a mom as well!

I feel like you are insulting you and the band's brilliance and awesomeness when you do things like this.  Maybe you are friends with Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg because you are from Cali,  I don't know, but please, please no more cheese!!..  I want to keep you  in the same category as Maynard and Trent, but if you continue to sing "Fireworks" by Katy Perry at your concert, I'm going to have to demote you to a a level below Trent and Maynard which is very bad.
