Is this the last album of their contract with WB?

I have a feeling that with the success that Diamond Eyes has garnered that it won't be their last WB release.

well a covers lp from deftones sounds totally cool to me.maybe there are some more songs from the sessions they did for the diamond eyes bonus tracks.but if not a collection of the stuff we already have on one album maybe in better quality would be great as well.

What i am really hoping for is a "if only tonight we could sleep" studio version and to have that recorded with 8 strings will be monstrous.

i doubt we'll hear any new studio covers. for one, they wouldn't release them on a special edition vinyl (not really deftones style if you ask me), i can't see them doing any more than the 3 we got on DE during those sessions, and when have they had time to record any new ones since then?

I would say they probably have a few hidden away from early years. I mean.. no one outside the band/record company people/donk heard Black Moon til B-Sides and Rarities.. or Simple Man... it's possible they have a few songs we didnt know they covered.

True, but then why not just release an EP. Plus isn't this exclusively just for the UK?

Maybe they have a lot more than we know? And sure it is, but there are record players that allow you to hook up to USB and transfer to PC

I guess it's always a possibility and I have to say I wouldn't be upset if there where. I Know I have a preamp that you can connect a usb into.

I'd love to have these ones in better quality than MP3. Specially "Sweetest Perfection", "Nightboat" and "Drive", since those three are my favorite covers.

I'm definitely super exicted about this! To get their covers on vinyl is teh sex.  :D

But I have to burst your bubble and tell you that an average 12" running at 33&1/3rpm is 15-20min on each side. So it'll be more like a sampling, or best of the best.

But but a "Covers LP" could still technically mean it has 2 discs! Hope for the best, right?!

nineteen

Why limit ourselves to just 2 discs. How about 3? or 4?
