I'm actually jealous of everyone that got into ATF the first time round, I'da been like 3 when it came out :/
I love the whole feel of that shit. Likejust looking at the album sleeve and shit, you can tell those were cool times. Cool times i completely missed out on.

He says nothing about being less of a fan,just that he wished he was there to experience deftones during that time when they were in their prime and was getting bigger.nothing strange about it really!  I think you who disagree- maybe feel the same, but doesn't admit it.I honor him because he is big enough to be honest about it Personally I wish i could be there back then to see deftones live when chino had dreads..

When I just got out the Antwerp show, I was totally thinking it was the best deftones show I had ever witnessed, but it was just all the enthusiasm. I still think the 2003's show I saw was the most intense gig I had the luck to see. There was just something more. Something that you'll never see again. Or not now, at least.

it can be hard to compare two shows when a lot of time has passed.To see a concert as a, lets say 15 year old, and then to compare that experience to when you're, lets say 25 year old seeing a show´again----different things.Experience something in life as a kid and experience something as an adult probably differs a lot. not 100% comparable

i've been a fan since late 1995. oddly enough i didn't see them live until 2001. i tried in 98 99 and 2000 but they fell through. never been a huge concert buff, could be another reason it took so long to see them. only seen them 4 times, being a diehard fan that isn't all that much). anyway, the adrenaline ATF era was great. 97 was actully the best year of my life. back then it was super tough to see footage of them live, few and far between, i didn't have internet until 2000 and it was slow then. you'd have to get bootleg vhs tapes from mags or friends of friends. i was 16 when i bought adrenaline, now i'm 31. things are vastly different now
