They played Rickets at the sweden show (it was a metal festival) i went to earlier this year, it was a crazy setlist. So much oldschool and almost nothing new stuff. Chino Only played guitar on one song and that was Change, here´s the setlist.
But as the thread says, no SNW and no S/T either.

    *
         1. Diamond Eyes
         2. Rocket Skates
         3. Root
         4. Nosebleed
         5. CMND/CTRL
         6. You've Seen The Butcher
         7. Rickets
         8. Birthmark
         9. My Own Summer (Shove It)
        10. Lotion
        11. Engine No. 9
        12. Passenger
        13. Change (In the House of Flies)
        14. 7 Words
        15. Headup (with Max Cavalera)

Yep, but ever since the beginning of this new US tour ( which started at the beginning of August ), it's a regular one.

As I'm sure you know a lot of 'tones fans think SNW is their worst album (I'm one of those people).  I don't hate it, but I'm glad they're playing other stuff.   Also SNW seemingly represents a shitty time for the band so it's understandable why they would steer clear of it.  I saw em 2 days ago for the first time and it was the shit.  After I got home I wrote down every song I could think of that they played if you're interested in checking that out.

around the fur
my own summer
be quiet and drive
dai the flu

hexagram

diamond eyes
royal
prince
you've seen the butcher
beauty school
rocket skates
sex tape

digital bath
elite
knife party
passenger
change

nosebleed
7 words
birthmark
engine no 9

Seriously look at that line up :)  Who cares about SNW lol.  Could have used some more Adrenaline though =D.

They played almost all of these songs last night with the exception of Hexagram.  In it's place they played Needles and Pins.  It was so amazing!

Oh and they played HITE and bloody cape also.

nineteen

I want them to play some different stuff too.

I saw 'em back in 97/98 and I got my fix of Adrenaline/ATF then but I can't remember it! So it would be nice to hear it with more conscious ears. I vaguely remember Teething though.

It has been nice to see them just around/after they brought a new album out, as they played more songs from them.

SNW sounds better in the car.

I dunno what I was listening to in Cleveland last night but I coulda sworn they played Rats but everyone is telling me they didn't so I musta been hallucinating or something cuz I remember moshing to Rats oh and the setlist says they played Bloody Cape which is one of my favorites and I don't remember them playing it and no I wasn't drunk wtf.

Yeah, of course! I was there myself!
I was kinda dissapointed when they didnt played their usual softer set.
But i´ll guess they did it just cuz it was a classic metal festival with bands like Megadeth, Slash, Airbourne, Motörhead, Europe etc etc.
But it was cool to see Headup with Max! (Caverlera Conspiracy was playing just right after them)

Vesanic

And of course, there barely are videos from that show... Thanks for the info, dude. That's the only time of the year Rickets was played, I guess.

They played When Girls Telephone Boys which is unusual from their usual setlist lately imo  so you could have been possibly thinking of that song. I don't remember them playing Bloody Cape but they did play Needles & Pins that night...

Am a brand new poster here and kinda bummed about this.
Will be seeing them for the first time this Friday at MSG NYC and was hoping/expecting a more rounded setlist.
The one I just saw posted from Mohegan Sun last night was all DE and the first two albums. Only one song from WP (how can that be???) and nothing at all from ST or SNW.

I realize I am probably an atypical and latecoming fan but SNW is what got me into them. I'm generally more of an alt-rock fan and stupidly never bothered to listen to Deftones before 2006 that as I assumed they were another Limp Bizkit type of rap/nu-metal band. When I met my girlfriend in fall of '06 she put "Cherry Waves" on a mixtape for me and I fell in love instantly (with both girl and band). Went out and bought SNW the next week while on tour in Boston and have been a huge fan since. I acquired all the prior material and enjoy it all but the more straightforward pre-WP stuff does not satisfy me nearly as much as the later heavy+dreamy stuff, so the idea of three Adrenaline songs in this very short set but only Change from WP, and none of Digital Bath, Minerva, Cherry Waves, Knife Party, Bloody Cape, HITE, Deathblow, RX Queen, Beware etc. is making me feel deprived in advance.

I am sure it will be fantastic based on the video clips here, and I am psyched to hear the DE tracks (I think it's the 2nd best of theirs after WP), but I just wish the setlist was more balanced with a decent amount from each album instead of so much early stuff and new stuff and almost nothing from the middle albums that really do it for me.

Glad to know I am not the only one who doesn't understand the lack of love for SNW.

They're playing a headlining show tonight (= 22 song setlist, I guess), let's see if they changed their minds with all the BDS shit going on.

Vesanic

They still don't play stuff from SNW, except Hole in the Earth, once again.

You guys might know about that intro they often play, which doesn't appear on the original track (it does on the instrumental demo though), here's a " new " intro, sounds hella sweet, from Bakersfield concert, October 13th:

Deftones 10-13-10

E-Money

That intro is cool, but I still love the Boards of Canada sample... but both are pretty sweet!

Vesanic

I'm only talking about Hole in The Earth intro here, though, not their concerts intro.

Shadow46/2

Just saw em in Dallas last night. No Es En Dub.
But they played minerva and hexagram .  :P

Speak of the devil, and he shall appear.

Vesanic

You got the full setlist for the live guide, maybe ?

Yea I got ya V.  I thought they used to play this one before Hole In The Earth.  I'm pretty sure they did when I saw them in 07...
