i don't think anyone can be that annoying. plus i can't really see this guy sticking around all too long. just another interchangeable idiot.

I dont see how it makes sense that you can be a fan of DEFTONES and say that DEFTONES' music is only really their first two albums, because then they broke past the nu-metal genre and became more diverse. Maybe you prefer that kind of music, so you dont like the slower stuff, but they have influences frm a lotta bands, and they like different kinds of music, so how is incorporating that into their music selling out"? Seems like there are a lotta ppl who want them to fit in one specific style of music, but then that's not who they are.

Deftones have always evolved/changed. If you want a band that's virtually the same as when they first debuted, go listen to Korn or Tool or something. Jesus.
Yes thank you.
Tool  is so damn overrated it disgusts me.
Korn is just a sad joke.

Pretty cool song choice! hope they do more than one video for the album!

Great choice for sure. Good song.

I'm sure we all have personal choices for singles but at the end of the day, it's their deal (obv).

Good on you, Deftones. Sextape is a good example of how they have stepped up their songwriting.

Go visit a Tool-site and tell everyone there Tool sucks and Sextape is an example of a great song Tool only can dream of making.

Did you just mention Korn and Tool in the same sentence?

He's right, though. I would argue that Korn did change up their sound even more than Tool over the years.

Vesanic

That's because Tool's sound is way richer than Korn's.

they are actually doing two new singles appaarently:

"Deftones are set to release their new single "You've Seen The Butcher" to radio on September 14th. A video for the track is also in the works with more details currently pending. Meanwhile, the bands recently filmed video for their track "Sextape", which was shot with the direction team of Zak Forrest and Chad Liebenguth (Foxy Shazam, Fang Island), will serve as the bands next single internationally."

Could it be any possibility of releasing any new material with the singles? B-Sides, new versions...
You move like I want to.

Definitely my least favorite song on the album but I think it's probably the best song to be a single.

Hesperian Death-Horse!

I could see Floria Sigismondi doing great things for "You've Seen The Butcher" even though I know she is not set to direct.  In fact, I think she should direct all Deftones videos from here on out.

Any word on when these will be out?
