you've seen the butcher on the other hand is super groovy and most of all sexy.
I thought it was just an impression of mine... :)

i cannot believe you guys think royal is that great. yeah, it has an awesome breakdown but the mainriff is pretty generic mid-90s nümetal.

It's classical old school Deftones and i'm glad its highly appreciated among most of us.

Not all of us discovered Deftones through Hole in the earth ;-)

thats the thing though. oldschool deftones weren't standard numetal fare (well, lotion and a few others excluded). royal is not really deftones at their most creative. guess you guys love the bouncy stuff.

I really don't get all the love for prince. It has hardly any cool guitar riff and the chorus is so boring and unimaginative lyrically and musically.
Its still an alright song but ystb and royal are far far better. Royal is king for me! But that rocket skates riff still rocks my socks everytime it comes on, shame its out...

I adhere on the royal part. It has one of deftones' lazyest verses ever, they are close to irritating. Still I like the chorus and the TAKE ME part.
