I dont know if i am aloud to comment on this or not if not then please remove this topic but i was stoned last night, me and my friends were smoking all night and we decided to listen to SNW as we were flicking through MP3s and seriously i have never been soo relaxed in all my life, this has to be the most relaxing album ever... every song i was zoning out at, is that normal?

oh and when Cherry Waves came on...  ::)

Penicks

It's definitely their saddest. DE shone a new a light on it for me.

see i actually like it because its really relaxing and chilling... not heavy at all really... not my favourite album but definately one for chilling with i think. im stuck between DE and ATF as favourites

TheShade1989

I dont think of any of their albums as being relaxing, because they all have a mix of different kinds of songs that give off different vibes, but Beware is one of their most relaxing songs for me.

SX King

Its does seem pretty chill when i think about. Theres a lot of slower and just quieter stuff on the record. I love this album, its not my favorite but no matter how many times i hear people explain why the dont like it...i will never understand it.

Menos el Oso

I enjoyed it. Sure, it maybe different from their other albums, but it's still a good album. It has some really mellow songs.

i think snw is is on par with all of their albums, i really like it. except ffor pink cell phone, i think every song is cool (even mein). maybe the record sounds a little pieced together but its still great. i can honestly say that IMO its better than diamond eyes. even though DE is really cool, i remember feeling snw a lot more when it came out. DE has a little commercial vibe to it.

DE>SNW for me but i still love it. pink cellphone i'm not too fond of though. but there are some great songs on that record. cherry waves, combat, rapture, kimdracula. but it just doesn't feel as cohesive or complete as DE.

agreed. self titled is just crushing. i don't find SNW particularly sad. only really xerces and riviere seem sad to me.

S/T is more, it's deeper than sadness. It's utter sorrow.

Riviere is just one of the most beautifully depressing-sounding songs ever. But yeah I agree with what ppl are saying, I think the Self0Titled album sounds generally more depressing. Actually, to improve on my earlier comment, I think that album is more relaxing than SNW. Minus Beware.

Xerces=The saddest
Combat=The Loudest
Kimdracula=The Best

it definitely has melancholy written all over it, and compared to the other albums it's probably the one with the most "chill" songs.
pray nightfall release me
then i could wander, wander to deep sleep

White Wrist

there are great musics in SNW.

beware, xerces, riviere. even cherry waves (except the lyrics...)

but, as an "album" is really bad. there´s no line...the songs are isolated from each other.

At least, with DE...they got this feeling back.
