You may be right, it's probably the most loved by the band right now (well, according to interviews). Personally, it's one of my fav on the album, but I don't find it very representative of their work. Not that Mein was!

Actually, I think it's very representable of CHINO's work. If Stephen wasn't in the band then the whole album would sound like Sextape. I think Eros will sound a lot like Sextape too. More calmer, more experimental and fucked up.

hmm.. i dont know... chino said in a kerrang article ""The songs are definitely weird, which is a breath of fresh air to me.I haven't been playing guitar on these new songs so Steph [Carpenter] has taken up the helm and that's worked out really well"
and according to the eros clips it sounds a lot of steph,but then again.. thats all they were..just short clips.'cept for melanie.

I remeber I read somewhere Chino said that everytime there's an experimental/"love" song (I don't remember the wors he used) people think it has to be him, but sometimes it's Stef. Maybe Stef only pretends to be a tough metal guy  but deep inside he has a sweet tooth for slow songs!

I reckon Chino come up with both intro's though, since he begins both songs.

I think the sales are quite high. When to a big mediastore today (Media Markt) and Diamond Eyes was sold out. Felt fucked and happy at the same time...

Then went to www.cdwow.nl for a copy and saw Diamond Eyes is at #6 of the top 100 http://www.cdwow.nl/music/0/0/top-100.

Glad the album sells, however, still hope Deftones will not become a famous band, this wont improve the next albums I think, kinda like the underground atmosphere (...as far as you can call it like that...).

The concert in Amsterdam is sold out, fuck, wanted to get an extra ticket for my girl.

I still cannot find anything solid on the Billboard numbers. I guess we wait till next week.
