I think the weird, creepy sounding synthlike distortion in the very beginning is a hint as to what Headless will sound like because it's track 9.

Goddamn, right again!

Did Chino just say that almost every track is connected and transitions into each other?

Holy fuck the wait for this is excruciating

This is excellent news. One of the reasons KNY was so great was how a lot of the tracks flowed into each other.

Interview with Abe: talks about the intro to Radiant City, the making of Ohms, and what his favorite song off of Ohms is.

Yeah, he pretty much said the eyes were not meant to represent Chi's.

Inkblades

But he also said it's a pretty crazy coincidence how much the picture of Chi lines up with it.

So, from Abe's description, it's safe to say that Radiant City is the song Kerrang said starts with a rapid bassline from Sergio. I'm now gonna try to feed Abe mimicking Sergio's bass into AHA to see if Radiant City comes up.

The interviewer really did my head in. But some nice info from Abe!

She was brutal, especially laughing at her own jokes and talking over Abe.

Inkblades

Some interesting tidbits about Nick Raskulinecz's working relationship with the band that I didn't know in that last article - they wanted him to produce Gore but he wasn't available and he evidently wasn't around for all of Koi No Yokan.

Shadow46/2

Yeah it sounds like things kind of tapered off with Nick - makes sense they'd want to go back to Terry

Speak of the devil, and he shall appear.

There are so much contradicting information about this. I def heard somewhere saying chi's part weren't completed. I guess it was bullshit. Maybe it was mis communication and that person meant Chino's part.

I don't really have time for a two hour interview. What's the time mark for the Eros talk? Any other important/interesting info?

All the music for Ohms was finished last summer, and it took chino the rest of the year through christmas to record his vocals and he doesn't seem a big fan of this.

buflen

Thank god Stef doesn't have full control of the deftones sound because it'd be chino singing over Meshuggah riffs.

buflen

I wish fans and media would get over eros and just accept it will never come out. I'm tired of interviews asking about it constantly.
