Well they seem really excited about what they do now so it seems practical enough to start writing a new one but I thought they said they wanted to tour DE as long as possible.

As a producer I desperately want Terry Date back. Nick was good but a DE 2 would bum me out.

Downsides, this would push Eros back and would effectively kill team sleep. It would be cool to see another 'tones record so soon though. One of the worst part of being a fan is the waiting we always have to do. It's better than being a tool fan though. Perhaps they want to finish off their contract sooner so theycan start releasing things independently. I'm sure I've heard chino say he'd like to be able to do that.

i think team sleep's been dead since 2006. Chino can't juggle the two, he tried and it just didn't work. i don't think they'll ever release another album. best case senario imo is Chino puts some vocals down on a ts track once a year or so, and maybe a few tour dates in any off time. doubt all that too though, i think TS is history

exciting shit! The more I listen to diamond eyes (and im still listening to it) the more I like it. I'm well ghey for every album they've done so another one can only be a good thing.

Doesn't bode so well for a european tour this summer / autumn though, other than the usual festival circuit,  I suppose there is a chance that they will even just pop by for the big festival dates with no (or very few) headline dates along the way.. . . I'm starting to think . . Download or Sonisphere? Or either?

what's given you the slightest idea they're alive since after 05? as far as Chino being involved, and a new rcecord with Chino and full on tours it's pretty much over. seems that way anyway. if TS isn't dead it's definitely on life support

why? they haven't announced anything, toured, released anything, or officially written anything in years. they seem pretty dead to me. i like to hold out hope that one day we'll get another TS record but at this point it seems incredibly unlikely. maybe they'll play a few shows or release a new song or two (though i highly doubt that) but that'd be the extent of it in my opinion. it's more likely chino would become involved in a new side project like the holy ghost and then go back to deftones. at this rate if we did see anything at all from TS again it wouldn't be for a good many years.

i hate to say it but i agree i think Team Sleep is dead. well the touring album making Team Sleep im sure Chino and Todd will still make music together. Im glad I saw them when I did.

Todd and Chino have been making music for a long time.  Yea Chino is busy with other shit but no way they are just gonna stop.  I doubt we'll see anything from them for a long time but there will be a Team Sleep record or at least some more songs in our future some day...

And a couple months ago I asked Todd on facebook if they were done and he said no, just busy with other things and taking a break!

In all seriousness though, we know he can't balance both Deftones rigorous touring schedule and TS (now he's also got THG too!). I don't blame him for that. We're just acknowledging that if they are gearing up for another 'Tones record, TS is really going to be on the back burner. Even more so than before. Once they finish and release LP7, they'll go right back to touring for another two years. Personally, I'd be fine with a Deftones hiatus so he can go focus on TS/THG and Steph could go do Sol Invincto. Maybe also release Eros instead? Just my two cents, though (actually, my opinion is probably worth less than that). Of course, they are obviously feeling reinvigorated as a band, DT is their bread and butter and, at the end of the day, it's their decision to do whatever they want. Just hypothetically musing here.

Either way, Team Sleep album in 2027 YA'LL!
