I feel like we've read the same article ever since Diamond Eyes released. Deftones outlived nu-metal. Check. Chi was in an accident and passed. Check. Working on album called Eros that was shelved. Check. They write more about the history of the band than the actual new music coming out.

Yes he does, didn't know he contributed vocals... interesting. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I sorta remember hearing that he also wrote Acid Hologram, which happens to be my favorite song off Gore.
