Biggest news is the album is almost done being mixed. It's also pretty crazy that they wrote 20 songs for this album. I'd be interested in a slightly longer Deftones album. Maybe an album with maybe 13 or 14 songs? The downside of that, of course, is a bigger chance of filler.

Chino saying they won't be playing new songs anytime soon because they want every song to be heard free of any preconceptions.

I'm cool with that, it's not bad to play new songs live if they're just heavy high energy tracks but if they've really gone for something different and have more textured and abstract tracks I could see why they would worry about how they would come across on low quality youtube videos.
