Do u guys really want the Tones to tour with these bands?  They probably wont be headlining.  I personally wanna se 20 + songs a night, like we got in 07 when SNW came out.  I could give a fuck about watching the tones play 10 then watching AIC headline.  Lame

Look, I'm here because Im a Deftones fan.  I want to see Deftones headline.. I'm not really a fan of AIC... or Mastodon... so it would really suck for me to shell out bigger money.. and only see a short Deftones set.     

but come on... I've waited years to see them again... and wondered part of that time if I'd ever see them again.  I DO NOT want to have to have the first time since Chi's accident with them opening for someone else!   That would just suck.

Yeah it's true.  Deftones is about to come within 2 hours of where I live but it also means paying for Limp Bizkit and a bunch of other shitty bands.  I just want D tones.

I don't remember hearing an Alice in Chains song since the early '90s and even back then I didn't like them. I think Deftones are old and famous enough to be headliners of a tour. I mean, they are not a garage band, and we're not talking about opening for rock legends like U2 or Rolling Stones*!

EXACTLY!!  Tones should be headlining and showing the world how sick this new record really is.  If they open for AIC there gonna play 10 songs.  Why the fuck would u wanna see the tones play 10 when they just released a killer album.

Double headline tour does exist, first time i saw deftones was a double headline tour with incubus, they both played around the same amount of time. I think that might be the case there, hope so at least.

I've seen the Tones many times. Seen them "Co-headlining" and Headlining. And with out a doubt in my mind I'll tell you they are MUCH better headlining. Crazy long sets. Bigger light show. Better Audience. I'll see them with who-ever. But I'd prefer them to be headlining their own tour.
