And holy shit, in Ghosts, Chino seriously sounds like he did in the old B-sides and in Linus days...WOWWW!!!!! Love it, so 80s too lol.

The voice sounds exactly like Nightboat. Abe even uses a few ideas inspired in Nightboat's verses. Ghosts is my favourite cover from this era , definetively.

I thought that! Nightboat, definitely. I LOVE my (legally bought..) 3 covers - but I think Do you believe is great. I used to love Japan back in the day - but the cover doesn't sit as well with me yet as Do you believe. I'm getting there though.
Hmm... Got 3 different editions of DE upto now, even though I know I can't compete with others on this board I'm still happy

Oh yeah, was at my local record store at 9am this morning and bought Diamond Eyes. It's so great playing the CD through my system and beats the HELL out of that MP3 leak.

EDIT: The tickets I bought for the Deftones show in London next week included a digital download of the Deluxe Edition within the price. Just trying to work out how and where I download this from... Any help?

When i heard they'd cover this song i kinda imagined how they would do it... and it IS exactly how i imagined...
Chino's voice in the verse sounds amazing plus i love how they have sampled the original vocal in the bridge... I only wish that outro riff went on longer as it sounds killer... Great cover! (in fact, i may even go as far to say best cover to date!)

I think that ending would have been really benefited from a better sound. They recorded the guitars with his pc's mics and the snare with a digital camera it seems. Love them anyway.
