I see no problem in stealing music as long as you buy the albums and bands you really like. Like I might download lady gaga album just cos I like some of the beats but I sure as shit aint buying her cd or supporting her on tour. But with deftones I downloaded the leak and will buy the CD because I love the band. People need to get off their high horses about pirated music. If a person pirates a CD and loves it he still might go see a concert or two of that band....and that generates more income for the band than cd sales which primarily go to record companies who have no idea what art is or what makes music beautiful...just money.

To you guys who like to steal from your "favorite" band read the post above. This is who you choose to associate with. Nothing personal, agree to disagree, but if you don't buy your favorite band's product then you are a punk ass, bitch, faggot. Go steal some Lady GaGa while you are at it fellas.

Sure, if the album was only released digitally, I'd buy it but seeing as I spent €15 already on the physical copy, it's insane to buy it again in bits & bytes. Same thing with buying digital copies of games. God I hate that shit. Nothing's cooler than filling your shelve with plastic cases. Don't give in to the 21st century.

i think its fucking overkill when a band's label does that shit. like smashing pumpkins and Zeitgeist. How many was it like 4 different versions at 3 different stores plus the itunes. just so that a few months later they compiled all of them and released a "Deluxe" copy. Fuck that shit. And now they're releasing a "limited" signed booklet for DE if your pre order from newbury comics. It's like a big fuck you to the hardcore fans that pre ordered form the official site. I'm getting my pre ordered copy and a vinyl. I hope amazon has the bonus tracks otherwise i'm not getting three copies, especially not a digital copy.

I would not say I am trolling and I agree with everything you are saying, just not Deftones. They are my favorite band, I will go out of my way to support them. And yes, I know, they hardly see any of the money, however, the more records they sell, the more support they get, the more support they get, the more benefits we as fans receive. ie, more tours, more cd's (box set), more dvd's, etc.

If this album sold 2 million in 2 weeks I guaranfuckingtee you we would be seeing "entertain me" released into theaters within a month and we would be getting a box set release asap. It's all about money, the more money the label gets the more shit they try to sell us. Simple economics, that is why I will buy 3 copies, in the long run I stand to benefit for a paltry $50.

PS. About the Lady GaGa thing...maybe I am man enough to admit when I like someones music. The truth would be to say I like whoever made the music because her voice is very unoriginal. She takes a lot from the likes of gwen stefani. I like all sorts of music not just heavy stuff like the deftones. I mean I like old country like townes van zandt or johnny cash. I also listen to rap like outkast or tech n9ne. I also listen to pop music like kings of leon or broken bells. So.......yeah music is music man. I would just hate to be elitist like some of you and look down on people or associate being homosexual with listening to a certain act. Shows your immaturity really.
