the thought of it is absurd but there is one guy here trying to prove it to be so. of course his arguments does not hold water, but u cannot blame the guy for not trying. if u found this thread, cant believe u missed out on those opinions

if the record company go in with lots of money in form of advertising, videos, certainly pay studio time and producers, etc,etc (big dollars)
i can guarantee u they want their money back in the form of record sales.deftones and Warner have agreed on this. and if deftones, after they took part of all that money,  illegally release the disc on the side, it is most likely criminal. subliminal support this theory. well there u go

it seems like if u hate buying records you will support the theory that warner, who likes making big bucks, want peolpe to get it for free before the drop. my guess is that if either one of you who support the "give stuff away for free" theory exist at warner, if u would work there a day u would laugh at that opinion.

first of all the article doesnt say anything about them going ahead and doing so,them actually releasing it for free, just ONE member playing the the idea of that they will do so _later on_. your arguments,in the "discussion about the leak" thread (where u got hunt down by a predator a and eaten
up like a injured rabbit) was that deftones themselves actually made the leak,the entire band breaking a contract with warner and doing so BEFORE the release.if you read what he says - this article pretty much say they didnt leak it.

just one member throwing the idea around for them to do so later on,after the release then everyone bought it and when sales are idiling.shit wont happen with everyones approval of the band and they cant do so without the approval of warner,warner who own the right to deftonss music in the second the signed the contract.

releasing later on isnt stated as fact in the article.if warner who are against piracy would like people to to get their stuff for free why not post the mp3s at their site? it wont happen
