The voice sounds exactly like Nightboat. Abe even uses a few ideas inspired in Nightboat's verses. Ghosts is my favourite cover from this era , definetively.

I have to say caress is highly impressive, one of the heaviest punk-fueled songs I've heard them record yet but I'm listening to Ghosts now and its very very good, reminiscent of "If Only Tonight..."

I do hear a slight resemblence to the 80's style of the linus songs
