I don't mind When Deftones do covers. :-) But I hope it's some actual B-SIDES. How many songs were on that white board of tentative titles? (14?) Maybe we'll hear some of those.

Really S.Lopez didn't have as much to do with SNW as some think (He did the vocal production). I myself love SNW but if you were to blame someone for it (To each their own) it would be Ezrin. But to be honest I think it might be cool to let Lopez mix these and see how he does. :-) Who knows... Might turn out kick ass. Obviously the Tones trust him with these tracks and have plans for them.

agreed. Chino said he couldn't think of ideas for songs and felt too preasured with Ezrin, and hanging out with Lopez in a chilled inviorment really helped him create and put the album together. Lopez did fine with Chino. i really like snw

I am hoping for a bonus track on the iTunes release. They did it on snw and almost every band seems to be doing it these days. Some are really good. Poison the well's new release had a whole ep.

"Crash course in mixing 3 tunes near completion... 10 hours later. Deftones are very good at covering a broad range of tunes for sure."
