Always good, but there's a nice Belgian beer café right around the corner of the Melkweg (seriously)...we could also go there...

Hi there, it's been a while...

Alright! One of my favorite bands in my favorite city - and hometown - AGAIN!

The Belgian beer café is called 'De Zotte' and it's great indeed. Another good Amsterdam' jenever bar is 'Het genootschap der Geneugten' also 2 minutes from Melkweg... I can recommend the Melon Jenever...

See u there!

don't understand the choice of the venue though... they played paradiso 07 which was pretty packed and in 09 (paradiso again) that place was packing it hardcore, best crowd i've ever seen...

so why they changed it to a smaller venue? Diamond Eyes will definitely bring more fans than SNW.. :S

Both venues have a capacity of ± 1500 right?
Though I do like the Paradiso environment lots more...

Klopt; Team Sleep was de oude zaal. Goeie show trouwens, ondanks ziekte / verkoudheid Chino.

Actually, their first Dutch show was a day earlier, in Noorderlicht in TIlburg, october 12th 1997 (to the best of my knowlegde).
A lot of songs are available on the live EP and as b-sides to singles.

Melkweg has always been one of my favorite venues, seen so many bands there.
Paradiso is nice too but the lower roof at the Melkweg makes it more intimite.
It's pretty cool they will play there once again. Capacity of the Melkweg is the same as Paradiso,
so it's only a smaller venuw in terms of height.

Martin, are you gonna be at the Dortmund show? I can't be at the Melkweg show cuz I'm on vacation.

Here are some pics I took during their first Melkweg show in 1997:
