its symbolic to me of the shit they were going through at the time of SNW i mean it symbolizes the tension and how it messed up their flow....it was a good album ...just stuff like mean and cellphone didnt get to the polished sheen that a deftones work has...but i love that album coz of IMHO

So I to listened to SNW last night since had nothing better to listen to. I know I said I like everything deftones do. yes, even the infamous Diamond Eyes. Mein is the worst song deftones of all time.. There's parts of a good song in there if they worked on it but there's mo many things wrong.  embarassing. nothing comes close to this song that deserves more attention.

Ok so if we were to take mein fittin into context. Then it's totally a good track on there. Think about it. Hite, beware, rapture, cherry waves then mein. The first four songs are all mid tempo kinda dark-ish tracks. Mein comes out with this fast tempo of fun energy.

Agreed.  That version is what caused Idiot Pilot to get booed off the stage when they opened for Team Sleep in Grand Rapids.  Ahh, memories.
