So I to listened to SNW last night since had nothing better to listen to. I know I said I like everything deftones do. yes, even the infamous Diamond Eyes. Mein is the worst song deftones of all time.. There's parts of a good song in there if they worked on it but there's mo many things wrong.  embarassing. nothing comes close to this song that deserves more attention.

Wow... Is that like your catch phrase? lol. Seen it a couple times now.... Anyway. I like Mein. Not a fan of the "Guest vocals" but the record company made them do that. lol. Otherwise I think the song is great. ABE FUCKING KILLS THAT TRACK! That's enough of a reason for me to be a fan. :-)

Mein is fuckin awesome. That tempo the song has is just catchy.  Although I'll agree that the lyrics get repetitive and serj's part sucked.

Mein is somethin deftones have never done, lyrically its deftones but adding serj tankan to the bridge, his voice and lines alone just make this song so great as well as Frank's effects in the background. Though the video is very weird,  Its one of my personal favorites. Even the instrumental demo is great

Yeah the riffage alone is awesome. It's actually a really fun song to play on guitar. Serjs parts are cool, it's so obvious he was put on the track just to get them more attention. More Label interference  I'm sure they would've done something way more interesting with Serj if they had the time.

did u know serj and deftones were suppose to collaborate on the "finger of death" demo accordin to Shaun Lopez but then the song got scrapped. Im so glad they picked "mein" because his vocals just suit the track especially where he comes in.

Wow really? that would've been very interesting. But I must say, Chino's live vocals on that song are perfect for it! Intense and dreamy..

i understand the video concept, like rocket skates, they try to get away from typical metal or heavy music videos.. saying hey heavy doesnt automatically mean black clothes and angry faces. its not weird, its just not perfectly done.
