I'm still holding strong. For me, its really a no-brainer. Its way too easy to wait since May is my favorite month and that also has a lot to do with S/T coming out in May. Its gonna be too sweet to fuck up now.

yeah those first two weeks were brutal.  But now...would be stupid to listen to the leak after making it this far.   I'm even going to hold off seeing that Diamond Eyes video on Monday.  (i like how this has beginning to sound like the most important decision I'll ever make in my life)

the simple fact that the first time i'm going to listen to new stuff will be on their live show, gets me really excited, so yeah, i'll hear new stuff before the album drops haha OMG OMG...
that makes the wait worth it

Haha, that's my hold-out nightmare. I imagine hearing it on the radio--being like, "damn, this is good, I wonder what it is," and then hearing Chino's voice. Good on you for switching the station though.

i would think singles were fair game to listen to. the band released it and has intended it to be heard so i see it as a-okay but i guess if you're a purist and want the "entire album effect" it'd be more satisfying.

I'm good with hearing just one song before the album's release.  That one song is Rocket Skates.  I've listened to that one a lot.  I don't want to do that with another song before it comes out.

yeah only heard rocket skates so far - really fighting not to listen to Diamond Eyes - somehow hearing the album as a whole always works better - like I did when white pony first came out.  If i had listened to Change a million times before the album came out...I think it would have ended up being ''too familiar''' while listening to the entire album.  It kind of kills that 'cohesiveness' when a song sticks out like that...especially with an album as tight as White Pony.
