Went over to a friend's place on Saturday as he was having a bunch of people over.  Spent the entire time berating him since he had heard Diamond eyes and he kept on saying how awesome it is.  Needless to say, I went home with my head low and tempted to download the leak.  It's like he was in on this secret that I was aching to know about...but am still hanging in there - so Matt - I know the feeling.

Just download it.  When you buy it, the album will be just as amazing as the first time you heard it.  It will be like hearing it for the first time again.

Haha, my best friend called me up because he had heard it too--it definitely made it tougher for a day or two. Still, it'll be worth it for sure, so I'm not sweating it. To Deftones12022--I respectfully have to disagree, haha. I'd be lying to myself if I tried to believe that and listened to it now instead of when it came out. There's nothing like hearing something for the first time, the first time is the first time, and you won't get that back.

I could not agree more. I'm going all out on Deftones Day this time. I don't give a fuck how fan boy THIS sounds but here are my D day plans. lol. Taking the day off from work and I'm bringing in my bands full light set up in to a 12 by 12 room. Hooking up four top of the line speakers in each corner (For true LOUD stereo) Wine, Weed, Sushi. It will be insane. Me and a couple of friends buying the album the second the store opens and sitting around enjoying a 4 year wait by being suprised track by track ALL day long. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH. lol. Ok, Now who-ever can make fun of me. Lol.

Ya, I wish I were as strong as you guys to hold out, but I just couldnt wait.  Been playing it most days when I'm on the mountain riding.  Still I can't wait for May so I can go to the record store and buy that shit; O and getting to see them play the songs live for the first time.  Hopefully they play a Sacto show soon or even make their way up here to Tahoe.  That would be pretty sic.
