after years of lurking(thx to everyone), i come to light with this decent scan from my golden desk:)

The text just summarizes what we all know: chi, eros, chino smokes weed...

track by track:

nylon: The deftones romantic,  cosy and sexy...until evil fireworks and salvos of guitars explode
royal: Spacy meets a truly wall of noise, just to turn into whispering in the next moment. this is truly for chi
cmnd/ctrl: new metal is alive!  polyphonic and exalted vocals paired with a downtuned guitaraxe and "puked out soulwaste"
sextape: soundtrack to adventurous bedroom-exercises. a hymn, which praises sex as the last adventure of life.
yum yum: Another hommage to chi. Midtempo and with a text about his condition (see scan)
976 evil: the title misleads: these guitars wont kill anyone. a relaxed, reserved and melodic song
this place is dead: tight, spheric and hymnal.  another declaration of love to life.

I hope youll get the point, my bad translation shouldnt make the crappy german text better:)

What he doesn't translated is the description of Diamond Eyes, and that says: "A track that shows what to expect: a bastard between heavy riffs, a highly melodic chorus and some bizarr fantasy lyrics about love, bliss, friendship and diamonds that fall off the sky. How much weed do these guys smoke?"

Nylons and Suspenders is You've seen the butcher. rumors (deftones insider/band member/someone close to the band) confirmed it a little while back, and the new You've seen the butcher is not the same as the myspace You've seen the butcher.

but something that pisses me off is the typical omnisciently german journalism.
chino has never been straight forward with his lyrics and the all-mighty metal hammer thinks 2 of those lyrics are about chi?
