size is about a 12" x 30" and printed on thick glossy cardstock.

The too much make-up thing was done on purpose, I guess. And those flying dreadlocks are awesome.

sorry you don't like it. i love it. i think it captures a different side of chi. i love the flying dreads as well.

that pic you like.. chi's mom actually dislikes. she said he looks too depressed or something... but i do have a poster coming up that uses that image. as soon as i have the prints in hand i will post it up.

he's not in a "coma" any more. he does have sleep and wake cycles. he was wake wide awake yesterday and looked great. the guys from dredg went to visit him and he enjoyed that.  this morning he was talking alot. by talking i mean he was trying his ass off to form words and say something but it is hard to make out. he hasn't done this in quite awhile so it's great to hear he is doing it again.

it isn't possible to give a prognosis as to when we will "see him on his feet".. but we are working hard to give him everything he needs to make it happen. baby steps you know?

we have faith it will happen for him.. with hard work, love, support and lots of patience. we will not give up.

no V.. not like that.. but it is wide awake considering his previous states where it seemed he was sleeping always. when i have talked to him in person and even on the phone and he does respond verbally... it is a sign he hears me and comprehends what i am saying... even if i can't always make out what he is trying to say. i don't doubt that he understands. the last time i left him i was talking to him about us all "having his back and all will be ok" and he clearly said "uh huh". so many times he has responded to what i say with being very verbal like he is trying to tell us something. but it's like he is somewhat trapped and we need to guide him back. i don't know if once he is back he will even talk about his bass. my first thought would be.. bring me my son!

let's keep sending our dear chi positive healing and have faith he can do this. his spirit is strong and he has survived more things then alot of people with this type of injury have been able to. he is a true warrior.

one thing i was going to say - and i guess mods you should merge this with the one love for chi thread.. but anyway... chi's body.. his internal body is functioning great. he is so stable. it was so scary in the first year because he suffered so many physical set backs. we could have lost him at any time. but now that he is stable physically we just need to bring around his consciousness now. after that it will involve alot of physical, occupational and speech therapy. he has to relearn alot of daily tasks that we take for granted every day.

glad to hear he is stable. hoping to hear that laugh again someday. i was watching some interviews the other day and chi was always hilarious. amazing sense of humor. our hearts are with him and all those around him helping in his recovery. god bless!

I remember hearing a few months ago that a neurologist had come to work with Chi, and that he had like an 80-something % success rate for his patients to have a full recovery.  But I haven't heard much about it since then. Is he still working with Chi?
