Very cool  tracklist.. i like them all except CMND/CTRL ,reminds me of the konami code. whats it suppose to mean anyway, command and control?  the tracklist we got  in april 2000 before wp came out in june had a lot of different names, iceskates,whitepony,new murderer etc, which they did change to the cd release. wish they didnt this time..and i hope the songs are as great as the names

yeah + they actually say they watch it in interviews. they're favourite character were sawyer except for steph who digged sayid ^^ kind a wierd.. like the first interview after chi's crash and they talked about fucking tv-shows

pretty cool names. I don't mind unusual song names. only problem with names like CMND/CNTRL is that people are stupid and mispell them easily. speaking of CMND/CTRL, isn't CMND the Mac equal of the PC's CTRL-key?

as for You've Seen The Butcher - this will likely be this album's obligatory electronic track. but the "demo" or whatever it is that is on YouTube is pretty fucking crap if you ask me. so I really hope they've reworked it into something remotely interesting at least.

And most of the rest are okay, but not great. Risk doesn't sound like a Deftones name, some of the others sound like Team Sleep ones..

What happened to names related to the songs like Mascara and crazy ones that take a lot of thought/research like Feiticeira?

I'm so close to this band and their songs that it literally makes me a little sad that things have changed so much since the first 3 albums, in every aspect. I wish the band (mostly Chino) just sat and watched all of their live performances from like 2003 and back, and listened to the first 3 albums song-by-song..maybe it would remind them of how sick they were- although it's hard to believe they don't listen to/watch those often now...

if Deftones name their songs like that, then they are Deftones names. besides, the name of a song shouldn't mean shit as long as the song is good. I just see it as an added bonus if a good song has an interesting name.

nothing strange about fans having opinions about their favourite band at a discussion board - even when the topic is tracktitles.
if they showed us the cover of the new cd im sure people would have opinions about that too,even though its not heard.
besides - titles and covers does matter in the whole package experience of a release. to me anyways
