i read a post from chino and it was "we chose mein as the second single because serj is in it.we have no faith in ourselves and for the shitty songs on this horrible record so we try to attract system of a down fans with this serj-apperance and ride on their success"

i think abe killed that song but serg's appearance was useless. cherry waves>mein.

agreed, but lets face it....Cherry Waves shouldn't of even been considered a single....Kimdracula all the way.  That song had the most groove/catchyness our of all the songs on the album.  Deftones suck at picking singles/making music videos.  I have no doubt the rocket skates vid will suck.  Song is sick tho.

But it's the way he brings it. And I really really dig the "don't think that I don't know" part. If you talk about repetitiveness, I think Hexagram takes the cake. The worship/pray part takes so god damned long.  Which is a shame because I could actually fap to that song.

I remember Chino said Combat was too hard to sing and play on guitar at the same time. sounds like bullshit to me, but I can't really see any other reason why they won't play it. it's one of my all-time favorite Deftones songs, so it kinda sucks imo.

i thought Chino said they practiced playing Combat & they sucked at it. they do need to play those 2 at some point

for some reason i don't usually trust what Chino says anyway. none of them seem to know their own history or even what's going on that month/week with the band. they don't pay any attention to it like we do

it was an interview during that summer tour while snw out.. chino said ''we cant play combat song, we tried but it wasnt right..we cant''
first they said 2nd single will be cherry waves then they made the biggest mistake ever..

if you are talkin about snw this is the order :

KimDracula > Combat > Beware > Cherry Waves > Riviere
